The Art Of How To Learn Hypnosis
54If you want to know how to learn hypnosis, then no doubt you're slightly overwhelmed by the number of online resources that are out there. A lot of courses, ebooks and other material will teach you things that really make little sense, and that cannot be applied to any particular, real life situation.
You see, the trick to learn hypnosis is to practice bringing people into what's known as a state of trance. A state of trance is simply a state of mind that a person is in when they're very relaxed, and their subconscious is susceptible to your suggestions.
When people are in this state you can suggest things to them, and they will act upon these suggestions. You can even make these suggestions discreet, through the use of covert hypnosis, so that people aren't even aware that you're making them.
Once the suggestions have been planted within the person's subconscious, all that is required is that the person acts upon them. You can make the person act upon these suggestions by placing an action within them that they will act upon, which is also more commonly known as a 'trigger'.
The trigger may be something as simple as you mentioning a certain keyword. For example, let's say that you were talking to someone about the subject of “dinner”. Whilst doing so, you planted a suggestion within the person that they'd really want to go out to dinner with you. You could then trigger this suggestion by stating to the person “I'm thinking about grabbing some dinner now, as I haven't eaten anything tonight yet”.
This would prompt a positive response from the person, and they may say something such as “Ohh I haven't eaten anything either” obviously leaving open the opportunity for you to invite them to dinner. This is a simple example of how conversational hypnosis can be used in order to indirectly make a person do something, even though they're not aware of it.
At no stage would the person think that you were actually asking them out to dinner, as you've made the person actually infer that they'd like to go out with you to dinner by their own accord.
This subtle, discreet form of suggestion is essentially what covert hypnosis is about. It's about planting the initial suggestion (such as the person wanting to have dinner) and then triggering it in some way. So if you want to learn hypnosis, then my recommendation to you is to practice planting subtle, discreet suggestions within the people you speak to in order to make them perform actions you desire.
